March’s discussion about Citizen: An American Lyric naturally touched on the state of race relations in the United States and, thus, was an interesting, thought-provoking discussion. Continuing on the theme of current events, April’s selection is reporter Dylan Ratigan’s 2012 book Greedy Bastard$, which is in part a reaction to the 2008 financial crisis, but money is always a part of the conversation when it comes to politics. Forbes published a favorable review of the book. It should prompt another great discussion.
